Reiki Training
People often ask what a Reiki session looks like.
Sometimes, yes — it’s time on the table, lying down, receiving hands-on Reiki in stillness.
And sometimes it looks very different.
It can be sitting together with a cup of tea.
It can be sharing a few words, or sitting in silence.
It can be working with the body, or simply allowing space for what wants to surface.
Here, Reiki isn’t confined to a format or a treatment table.
It’s a way of meeting what’s present — gently, without force, and with attention.
The form may change.
The presence remains.
Questions That Often Arise
-
I offer Reiki Level 1 (Shoden), Reiki Level 2 (Okuden), Reiki Master level (Shinpiden) training, and Reiki Drumming. Each level is taught in small groups or one-to-one in Coomba Park on the NSW Mid North Coast.
-
No prior experience is required for Reiki Level 1. Shoden is the first step and is open to complete beginners.
-
Reiki Level 1, traditionally called Shoden, is the beginning level of Reiki training. It focuses on self-practice, foundational techniques, and learning to work with Reiki in a steady, grounded way.
-
Reiki Level 2 builds on the foundations of Shoden and introduces deeper practice, symbols, and expanded application. It is offered to students who have completed Level 1.
-
Yes. Reiki Master training is offered privately and focuses on integration, responsibility, and maturity of practice rather than accumulation of techniques.
-
Reiki Drumming is an in-person class for Reiki Level 2 practitioners exploring rhythm and sound within Reiki practice. It is not performance-based or a sound therapy qualification.
-
All in-person Reiki training is held in Coomba Park on the NSW Mid North Coast of Australia.
-
Yes. Group sizes are intentionally limited to maintain a steady, attentive learning environment.
